We have been in business as fiduciary advisors for 25 Years! In 1998, Jim and Janet Elder founded a registered investment advisor firm that is now known as ElderAdo Financial. The original firm was located in Arvada, Colorado and this is where the business began to take off. Jim and Janet did many things to educate others about their finances, including a financial wellness tv show. Their 4 year old daughter, Jaimee, made guest appearances on the show when they shared about how to teach your kids about money management.
A few years into business, Jim and Janet decided to move their family and business to Montrose, Colorado for quality of life. Over the years, ElderAdo Financial has grown and has become a staple in the Montrose community. From the funny quotes each week on the sign, to sponsoring numerous community events and non-profits, the team at ElderAdo Financial is active in the community.
After 25 Years in business, ElderAdo Financial isn’t slowing down. We have hired the next generation of advisors to ensure that our clients have a dedicated team to help them throughout their retirement years. Jim and Janet’s daughter, Jaimee Carnes, and her husband, Daniel, have come back to Montrose to lead the team for the next 25 years and more.
