Our company was founded to help Christians to apply biblical principles to their financial planning, to help align a Christian framework and to practice biblically responsible investing. Our directive is to provide moral and ethical financial advice given with care and concern for what's best for our clients and God's plan. We are an independent firm that provides full customer care and easy access to our services. We have multiple advisors that focus on taking care of our client's needs along with our service staff. Whenever you call or email our office, someone is available to help you. Our clients expect us to help them solve their ever-changing needs so we change with the times to stay current. With over 40 years of combined experience, our firm is not only financially competent, but empathetic to the real issues of financial advisory clients. Jim Elder – CHIEF FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Jim Elder is the President and Founder of the firm. His primary role is to formulate investment policy for the firm’s clients, assist clients with biblically-based financial planning that achieves their Christian focused goals and ensure clients both secure and maintain a solid retirement plan. Mr. Elder advises on estate planning, asset protection, and strategies for managing a Christian family’s wealth.
Elder authored the bible-based financial book titled “WealthCare”, a 285 page hardcover book providing practical information and solutions for today’s complex financial field. He was editor of a periodic publication titled “Dollars and Sense” and founded the faith-based, “Financial Health Fair”, a 501(c)3 Colorado Non-Profit Organization to educate the Denver, Colorado community on financial principles. Along with his wife Janet, Jim hosted the financial portion of the television program “Living for Tomorrow” on the Daystar Network, 1995 - 1998. Mr. Elder conducts numerous financial seminars and is active member of Rotary International.
Adam Miller - CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® and Qualified Kingdom Advisor™.
Adam Miller is the President and Christian Financial Planner for the firm. As a trusted fiduciary and fee-only financial planner he works passionately to help families preserve and manage their assets. By encouraging families to communicate their values, he helps them to make an impact, sharing their wealth and wisdom with the people and organizations they care about.
Adam is a past president of Rotary and continues to serve as a member of the Montrose Rotary Club. He also serves on the committee for Young Life, the board of the Montrose Community Foundation, is a member of the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy and also of Kingdom Advisors, a Christian Financial Planner organization. Mr. Miller completed a Masters in Personal Financial Planning.
Adam is often asked to MC or speak at events for non-profit organizations. He has written many articles on financial planning, stewardship and philanthropy and is passionate about helping individuals and families to make a difference by realizing their full capacity.
Lisa Isaacson - Financial Planning
Lisa Isaacson assists with financial planning and investment management. Lisa combines her Certified Public Accountant experience with financial planning to help individuals and businesses gain a broad view of their financial situation to bettercoordinate and achieve their goals. Lisa has 26 years of accounting experience, having worked equally in public and industry accounting. She is a candidate for the CFP® certification.
Lisa is an active community member and has served in several volunteer capacities. She is the secretary for the charitable service group, the Montrose Women's Club and serves on the Planned Giving Council. Lisa volunteers for ShareFest and is the secretary and treasurer for the Montrose Summer Music Series.
Lisa, her husband and son relocated from Wisconsin 13 years ago, choosing Montrose, Colorado for a lifestyle change and access to outdoor activities including hiking and camping as well as searching out the local live music scene.
Janet Elder – Chief Investment Officer
Janet Elder is the Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer specializing in managing and monitoring investment portfolios for our Christian clients. She is responsible for the research and recommendation of investment vehicles such as securities and mutual funds. Mrs. Elder constructs faith-based portfolios that respect the client’s concerns about managing investments from a Christian perspective following bibical values while keeping with client's goals and risk tolerance.
Janet is a graduate of Phillips University where she earned a Bachelors of Science. Ms. Elder has served on the Board for the Montrose Chamber of Commerce, and served with the Montrose Economic Development Corp. She is a previous member of Altrusa, a community service organization.
Gina Grundemann – Office and Operations
Gina Grundemann is in charge of administrative organization, customer care, CRM management, and marketing. She is the welcoming face and voice when clients contact the firm and is responsible for keeping the flow of tasks running smoothly and assisting in day to day client transactions. Gina schedules consultations, assists clients with a variety of financial management requests, updates electronic media and develops marketing materials.
She has completed a Masters in Business Administration through Columbia Southern University. Ms. Grundemann has attended several retirement plan workshops and completed courses in employment law. Gina is an active member and volunteer for the Montrose Botanic Society and the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade. She enjoys creating landscape paintings, gardening and hiking.
